No, gift cards are shipped INACTIVE and activated once receipt is confirmed.
Q. Does the value of the gift card appear on the face?

NO, The Limited Gift Cards have NO EXPIRATION date.
Q. Are there any fees if the Gift Cards are not used?
NO, The Limited Gift Cards have NO DORMANCY FEES or other fees.
Q. Can the Gift Cards be redeemed for cash?
Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund unless the Gift Card is redeemed in-store and the balance is less than $5 or as otherwise required by law.
Q. Where can the gift cards be redeemed?
The Limited Gift Cards can redeemed at 242 The Limited stores nationwide, online at www.thelimited.com, or by phone. A PIN is required for online redemption. A maximum of 5 Gift Cards can be used in a single online transaction.
Q. Are lost gift cards replaced?
The Limited is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards. If a Gift Card is lost, stolen, or destroyed, The Limited may replace it if you provide the card number. Replacement cards will be the value for the card at the time The Limited receives your report of loss, theft, or unauthorized use.
